(Incidentally, it's not just a gay/lesbian group - their wiki defines them as for identities "including but not limited to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, tran(s)sexual, two-spirited, asexual, intersex, pansexual, questioning, and anyone who identifies with the queer moniker".)
I haven't been involved in years, but in those days they were pretty much the best place for conversation with other queer anglophones. They were a very welcoming group and quite open.
