I've been looking on CL and kijiji but it's hard to find something specific although I have a couple leads. It's just easier to ask for what I need rather than email people with a million questions!

Ohhhh and I don't watch lost but I follow everything on ninja video;)

Especially for a no lease place, most ads will probably only show up by late February or March for April 1. If you can move out by April 1, you have a greater chance of getting a lease transfer since that's when most leases end.

This fits with what you're looking for with an availability for April:

I'm renting my place out for March 1 but I can leave a bed (futon mattress) and dishes, etc. I was only here temporarily too and we can't take a lot of stuff back to Edmonton with us. It's a lease transfer but the lease ends July 1 2010. I was also looking for a short-term place in Montreal (that would be child-friendly) but couldn't find anything. I'm at Guy-Concordia metro so lots of accessibilty to everything. The place is pet and child friendly, in fact we have a baby ousrselves. It's a one-bedroom apt, super tall ceilings, hardwood, french doors with balcony, utiliites included, $760/month. There is laundry in the building but you would have to arrange internet yourself. I could leave the phone and dishes and cooking things if you like, you would have a complete set up. Contact me at melaena@shaw.ca if you want more info.

I forgot to mention,it's a king size mattress bought from Ikea in October so lot of room for husbands and babies! I just have camp chairs and table but could leave them behind, also things like hangers and storage boxes. Then when you move you can give them away or sell them or whatever you like. The building management is quite good and it's one bus ride to Jewish General hospital and a very short cab ride (5$) to Children's Hospital of Montreal (we've been there with our baby). We don't hear any noise from neighbours and haven't got any complaints about the baby. Anyway, let me know if you are interested! I'm very very keen to rent as I really need to get home to Edmonton as I myself am expecting another baby.
