Free fantasia movies?

I distinctly remember walking into movies for free at the Fantasia festival...in that ground-floor cinema in the Hall building. Was that just me walking into something without paying (I tend to do that, it's an accidental, spaced-out gift), or are there actually free films?

I will also take recommendations for other places that show free movies :

FantAsia is having one or two free movies but I forget off-hand which ones they are. Might want to check out www.fantasiafestival.com

There are a few free movies in parks this summer, but mostly in the West Island.
