There are stops by Lac aux Castors and the chalet/main lookout - that's assuming she can walk a fair bit on gradual inclines.

You might want to scout out the situation to see what the mud and/or ice and/or puddles are looking like too.

Not the Jean-Drapeau station for the Biodome, but Viau or Pie-IX. Google Map of the area

Omg, how embarrassing! I totally thought it was on Ile Sainte-Helene! I feel so foolish, hehe. Sorry, and thanks!

You might have heard about the Biosphere at some point and mixed them up. :)

Indeed, that's exactly what I did. In fact, I never realized that the Biosphere was not the Biodome until last night. *facepalm* At least I know now? :P

The 11 bus has a stop right by the east-facing lookout, but it drops you some way short of the main lookout over downtown, and you have to walk along a path for some minutes to get there from the bus stop. As someone else here suggests, you might go up soon and scout around.

Viau metro is slightly closer to the Biodome than Pie-IX.

Ah, okay. Good to know. I would totally go up and have a look around if I had any time to spare at all. My mom is coming out to see a performance I'm doing, so I'm in rehearsal 24/7 until then! This is good to know, though. I think I know the path you mean - I was there once with a friend and his parents and they drove up to the parking lot by the main lookout, so perhaps the bus stop is near that.

Viau it is! Thanks! :)

Yes. The bus stop is by the parking lot, but you do have to walk along that straight path towards the lookout, there's no vehicles along there. I seem to recall it's not paved but gravelled so it can be a bit uneven in places.

Get out at Viau metro. The walk is like, 5 minutes.
