Halo Run

Does anyone know anything about the Halo Run that happened today on Mount Royal? Did it benefit a charity? Was it just a race? What's up with that? I've looked everywhere, including the GMAA website, and there's not a helluva lot of detail out there.

It was an athlete competition for schools.

From what I remember from high school (we used to do the Halo Run every year at Villa) it was a competition. We had to do a certain amount of training to be eledgible to participate as well. I can't remember much more than that really... But lots of schools, competitive race... As for charity, I don't remember. Sorry.

It's a race for elementary and high school students. It happens once (or twice?) a year. Not for charity.
