Sirens?

I live near Decarie and Queen Mary and there's been a LOT of sirens going for about the last ten or fifteen minutes.  They're pretty far away and it's hard to tell where they are but I was wondering if anyone knew what's up?

Last time this happened the place one building over from my Mom's burned down.

i also live on queen mary near decarie and i always find the sirens incessant...i haven't noticed it, maybe i have just learned to block them out of consciousness. building could be burning and i probably wouldn't even realise it :/

They were pretty far off so it would have been hard to hear. Our duplex has next to no insulation so that probably helps.

They went for well over half an hour non-stop so whatever happened it was big.

theres always sirens near decarie.
i got so used to them growin up i couldnt go to bed on a quiet night.
