dear resourceful montreal -

i am looking for an affordable but nice and clean hotel room in montreal that has a jacuzzi tub. any suggestions? :)

or do you know of afforable spas that offer private jacuzzis? or massage + jacuzzi combos?

This is where I stayed when I was there. It's really close to a metro station (Berri-UQAM) and it's on St-Denis. The price I paid for the room me and a partner stayed was $125 CAD per night (for a small deluxe with a queen sized bed).

Here is the hotel's page. The staff was extremely helpful and very nice and also resourceful. There is free parking when you book a room with them. You just need to give them a $20 (any currency) deposit for the tag for your automobile.

I enjoyed my stay here. I would recommend getting a bit bigger room though. It's approximately $25 more a night.

thanks for your suggestion! i would rather avoid the latin quarter if at all possible, due to the sketchiness factor, and the fact that i live close enough to the hotel for it not to feel like a mini-vacation away from home.

i will definitely keep it in mind for visiting friends, though. :)
