I need to do some quick Halloween costume shopping!

I'm new to MTL and I have no idea where any THRIFT STORES or FABRIC STORES are. Most importantly I need ones that are open today, and hopefully not too far away (I live downtown). Any suggestions???

On St-Hubert street (Jean Talon metro), between Jean-Talon and Beaubien street. There is a huge selection of fabric store there. You can find almost anything.

The Le Chateau warehouse on Jean Talon and Decarie (right next to metro namur) has bolts of fabric, 3 for 9.99 last I checked. There's also a Salvation Army and a Village des valeurs within walking distance.

Namur is the place to go, you have 'till 5 :)
