i hope i win. this way the stm will have reimbursed me all the cash i lost for being late to work / cabbing it to work whenever the metro was down (which has been three times in the past two weeks!)

Me too. For the buses that never passed. On a once-every half-hour bus route. Grr.

The bus drivers / metro conductors are blaming the STM for the crappy rolling stock they have to drive. I dunno if I believe them.

No, it's true. The problem is apparently partially with the engines. I work for the company that makes the engines in the newer buses (the ones that've been breaking down). I'm the warranty clerk. Their warranty claims have sky rocketed in the past month or two.

(I have my fair share of horror stories too. Buses not showing up for three hours. Being stuck on the 20 for an hour because the bus broke down... yeah fun stuff).
