montreal buildings

question: What are some of the neatest building interiors (that are accessible to the general public) in the city, to you?
I'm going on a quest, and would love some ideas. :)

Ahahaha, I work there, and I'm so sick of being there every day! ;P

It IS beautiful, though. No doubt about that!

The church on Sherbrooke, a few steps east of St Laurent.

I was actually strolling down the street one day and I was like. HUH. LETS GO IN A CHURCH. So I went in and it looked really FREAKY, there's one wall with heads coming out of it, and the architecture is really...puzzling and different in certain areas. I didn't see the main chapel 'cause this woman who was sitting rock still behind a desk asked if she could help me in a really curt voice so I said no thanks and left.
I mean...it's a church, they can't refuse you. and I didn't see any donation box where I went in.

...there are probably better ways to approach this situation hahaha but I sorta just went in

The old Royal Bank headquarters on St-Jacques is open ordinary banking hours and is very ornate inside, with war memorials and a fancy ceiling ( ... )
