The weekend was nearly over and Mary was getting ready to say good-bye to Ed Deline. There had been some rough patches, but in the end she was glad to have someone around who she could talk to about what had happened to her

"I got you another present," Ed said, seeing the confused look on her face.

"You didn't have to do that!" said Mary. "I mean, the new walkie-talkies and the PDA were enough. You didn't have to get me anything else."

"Still, I think you'll get more use out of this than I will," replied Ed, holding out two sets of car keys. "Here. I know you had to sell your car when you left Vegas and Gunther told me you have to call a taxi every time you go to the mainland. Well, now you have both an Aston Martin and a Hummer."

Mary was flabbergasted. "Are you sure? I mean, you love those cars. You can't just give them to me."
