They stand in her hallway and look at Ben, and she's torn because she sees Dean in a new light and wonders if maybe he should know.

''Seriously... I mean, you're a hundred percent sure that he's not mine, right?'' Dean asks straightforwardly, looking so expectant that she could swear he's actually hoping for a negative answer.

She knows that Dean doesn't like the idea of Sam facing things that go bump in the dark by himself, but the fact is that somewhere along the way he stopped being the center of Dean's world.

I think this was my fav. line - the fact that Dean stopped being the man who had nothing but his brother to keep him going, that he found out life was worth living regardless.

Looking forward to part 2.

Exactly. In which universe is Dean gay?? Or Sam. Not to mention Castiel. I just don't get it.

nice work -- it would have been neat to see what s3 would've been like if Dean had stayed with Lisa and Ben .... and it must change Sam's choices too I'd guess.

Veeery interesting look at how things might've gone down had Ben been Dean's kid and Lisa had told him about it.

Noticed a few spelling errors (it's "perfect," not "prefect"), but regardless, I really, really, really enjoyed this. NICE JOB. Can't wait to read the 2nd chapter!
