First entry in 73 weeks. New years.
I've been spending a lot of time thinking up a slogan for 2009. I don't know why I've become fixated on the idea of encapsulating my future year in a small soundbite, but the need for a good one is now a thought I return to during my idle hours

My friend Nicole and I were saying "great in 2008" but it turned out to be pretty bumpy for the both of us. But even though the semester sucked, and I was unhappy I feel like it was a productive unhappy. I've always had a million and one plans mostly because I'm a schemer, but also because I'm afraid to go after what I want. I don't want to be happy I want to be practical. Happy can be taken away, practical is at least functional.
So I guess it's time to get awesome and completely un-practical. Yikes! we'll see, heh.
