I woke up to the sound of my cats displeased growling coming from the back porch. Usually, this means they're engaged in stand-off with a neighborhood cat that made it into my yard, and since my boy had gotten slashed up in a fight once, I'm always quick on my feet to go break it up

I went out to check on it and maybe snag a shot, but as soon as it heard the sliding glass door open, it darted off.

...to under my shed. URGH. Well, at least it's safe from Buck there.

But yes, possums are super cute, especially when they're little.
