However, if you are looking for help with your Castlevania movie, count me in!!! I would love to act in a film of that genre.
And, yep, Oklahoma has the most ecosystems in one state. More than any of the other states in the US. It would be very easy to drive out to the panhandle if need be to shoot desert scenes, which you certainly need in a good Catslevania flick.
As for the Wild Bunch.... Remaking a classic like that is going to more than likely blow chunks... How can you change one of the greatest westerns of all times into a probable Gangsta film...???
I would also love to help with the Legend of Zelda... That would be an amazing movie to act in or be a part of...
And John Woo is directing Metroid??!?! Looks like that will just be another 'Doom'... But with Angelina Joley or Charlize Theron as Samus, probably... *BLEGH*
Yeah, Aeon Flux might be good. I'm still getting over the disappointment though of it not looking highly stylized (as much as the comic and cartoon), and being very surreal as opposed to a straightforward narrative. Guess we'll find out in a month...
Hahaha! I remember a girl I went to school with in 5th grade here wore a Tae-Kwon-Do shirt called The Wild Bunch! I wonder if it is the same one?
An exploitation/grindhouse flick, as defined by the Aint it Cool News movie site:
It is pure exploitation joy... Kung Fu, Sex, Revenge, Murder, Blood Gorged Frames, Fast Cars, Fast Women, and a pumping pulsing soundtrack that makes your dick or nipples hard. Grindhouse filmmaking was low budget HIGH THRILLS!
The heydey of the exploitation flick was the 1970's. Blacksploitation (Coffy, Foxy Brown, Superfly) came into prominence, as did nunsploitation (Satanico Pandemonium), and many others. The classic drive-in movie. Lots of blood, action, nudity. Quentin Tarantino's homage to this genre was Kill Bill. Rob Zombie's homage was The Devil's Rejects.
Just the sheer amount of energy, but not overtly slick like modern mainstream movies; The sheer primal connection they make because of their lower budgets

Yeah, the landscapes will rule, and I'd love to have you help out on it!

Now that you have corrected me, I truly despise all of those movies you named.....
Well, I never saw AvP, but.... I don't want to...

As for Paul W., Boogie Nights has been in my top 10 since 1997 when I saw it in the theatre!

Man, I'd love to see what you'd do with a huge budget.
