In addition to finishing up the fourth draft of my Bald Knobbers feature script, I've been finally knocking out watching a ton of films during this crazy ice storm the past few days.

Yesterday I watched the following six films:

Renny Harlin's running audio commentary on Exorcist: The Beginning (2004)

Paul Schrader's running audio commentary on ( Read more... )

exploitation cinema, exorcist, prequels, marathon, edwige fenech, the illusionist, trailers, commentary, italian sex-comedies

I loved the Illusionist.......... dracschick January 15 2007, 03:48:35 UTC
however, the ending IMO, was very predictable. However, I was going all through the movie "they better end it that way or I'll be really, really angry". And then they did and I was happy:)

glad you got to see it though.

There was a crazy amount of ice this time. I've only left the apartment all weekend to go to the convenience store next door. Even it has been closing at 6:00. But tallwithglasses and I had a movie marathon of our own. We watched the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, extended edition, plus a lot of the bonus material. Tomorrow, we're planning to watch The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. Speaking of Narnia, I just saw where the expected release date for Prince Caspian is May 2008.

Yeah for snow/ice days!

Oh how I wish that convenience store were right next door to us!

I did take Tam to the emergency vet hospital in Friday night, but it took an hour to drive the three miles there, and he and I had to wait there for over three hours just to wait on all the medical staff to arrive in shifts to check him out. But he's fine now fortunately!

Didn't you guys just watch the whole LOTR trilogy a few months ago? I guess those films lend themselves to holiday breaks very easily though. Did you do the skip-Bilbo game this time?

Yeah, Prince Caspian was *supposed* to come out Dec. 2007, but they thought they'd need an extra five months of post-production. Which is fine I guess; But its always so nice to have those types of movies coming out at Christmas!

Oh he was refusing his food for three days' straight and started acting really weak. It was either the world's biggest case of constipation or else he'd swallowed something fabric-y that blocked him until the doctors helped him out. We're still not sure which!
