I had to look that character name up because I haven't seen Gone in Sixty Seconds, but yes, Christopher Eccleston is the man this time, at least for that particular season, before he was replaced yet again. I know him as the lead in the film Jude (1996) based on the classic Thomas Hardy novel Jude the Obscure, as the returning soldier father in The Others (2001), and the Army General in 28 Days Later (2002).
