We should play Narnia, doggone it! It's the next logical step after finishing Sith (finally)!

The original "Contra" NES game was my favorite. The graphics still rock in a nostalgic way. 'Kung-Fu' was the first game I mastered. Damn, I should crack it out and jump-kick the Big Boss' face in.

:)

Thanks for helping me relive the 'glory years'.

No kidding! I love that game so much! And Kung Fu...man, that one will always rule. I loved fighting the stocky 3rd lvel boss in the wife beater. We called him Mr. Miyagi.

I know how ya feel. But now when I go back and play those games they can only hold my interest for about 10 minutes before I get terribly bored. Even my old all time favorites are like that!! Maybe it was the 10+ mins of trying to get the damn cartridge to work properly that made the games more enjoyable. ;)

That is never the case for me for some reason. When I play them, I get totally sucked into them and can't let them go until I've beaten them again. Any games post 1994 just can't hold my attention very well. I think the increased amount of realism and freedom allowed nowadays is just too much to handle. I think that the more limited the graphics and gameplay is, the more my imagination kicks in and places me in the context of the world, as opposed to games with immersive environments that rob me of that ability.
