i saw that the other day. i do think she's handling it well, though. but! i agree that this trend of calling slender celebrities fat has got to stop. one article described her body as "cellulite-ridden." if they really want to see what cellulite-ridden means, they can come over and look at my butt. and the people who write these things and take those pictures, i can almost guarantee they are not in the best of shape themselves. so how can they fling around the word fat? it's like celebrities live in a magical world where everyone needs to be skeletal and blemish-free.
Yes, it's very hard for me, too, to read those things and not personalize them. I've found that the only way that works, for me, is to think of celebrities as living on another planet whose rules don't apply to us. But I'm not saying that method is always successful, either. Uccchhh.
