At the same token, I could literally care less if comfortability is a word, irregardless.

hehe! You should check out this blog post In Defense Of 'Irregardless'

http://crave.cnet.com/8301-1_105-9796217-1.html

The part where he compares 'irregardless' to Chuck Norris is the best.

Oh! That's hysterical! Love it!
But I am still not gonna use the word "irregardless," regardless of that post.

I actually thought yesterday, as I was eating a peanut butter cookie at work, "someone should make sure that everyone knows these have nuts in them!"

Peanut butter cookies are usually pretty easy to spot. It's the fork marks on top that give it away.

I've often been really, really thankful for those fork marks. Though I think it's kind of an odd cultural custom - like, how did all the peanut-eaters decide that peanut butter cookies needed to have criss-crossed fork marks on top of them? Where did that come from? It's so universal.

Also, part of my job is soliciting donations of cookies from volunteers to give to other volunteers. And people always want to know if we have restrictions, or quantities, etc. and my bias comes out because I ALWAYS say, please separate and label the ones with nuts! Even though, you know, I'm not going to be eating these cookies. But I want people to get in the habit.

Or always have some Benadryl handy. :)

I always do, but I'm still itchy after taking Benadryl. It can only do so much against my mighty, overzealous immune system!

Education is the worst for retarded made-up words and idiotic expressions and abbreviations. It's crazy.

Take, for example, your misuse of the word "retarded."

(I'm not the word police, and that doesn't offend me, and even *I* use retarded in the same fashion occasionally...but technically, it's in the same category as people using "gay" for "stupid." )

Yep you're right. I should be deeply ashamed of myself.
