When I was actually a patient in the hospital, I didn't mind the food so much...but that was probably because I didn't really have to decide what I wanted, it was just brought to me.
Maybe the problem is that I don't get to lie in a bed and have food served to me.
after my last hospital stay I have seriously considered going to all the local hospitals and seeing what options they have. My first hospitalization had pretty decent food, but I am no longer affiliated with that hospital and the location isn't terribly convenient. I could go to the Boston branch of the hospital that I was in, where the menu is very similar but food seems to be made better, but then it is a 30 minute drive where you have to pay to park as opposed to a ten minute drive with free parking...decisions decisions...
well, other than the food, the place where I stayed was okay. It was a pretty small hospital so there wasn't a ton of people there. I didn't have a private room but didn't have to share it with anyone, always a plus. I think next time I would just make Chris bring me a shitload of stuff from home! They did have a patient fridge, so I could have my soy milk and soy yogurts...

Although I have doubts about whether I'd be allowed to bring my bed to work and dominate folks.
Actually, one of my co-workers would probably be up for it.

I shouldn't complain, because I had such a yummy sandwich today that I don't know why I keep thinking I don't want a sandwich.
