When I said I wanted to do easy work for a while, this is the kind of thing I had in mind. Laid back office, decent people, easy work. Typing up memos and lists, printing address labels, sticking labels on postcards, putting stamps on postcards, covering the phones when necessary. Being able to surf the net a little bit and drink as much tea as ( Read more... )

It sounds like my temp gig. If they'd just give us fucking universal health care, I'd fax shit and order donuts and juice for these idiots until the end of time. Beats the fuck out of coal mining!

Aw man, if I got benefits for this, I'd be so all over it!

It also beats the hell out of kitchen work for half the wage!

My parents met in a gay bar in the "combat zone" (i.e. where all the pimps, hookers, and drug addicts hung out back in the day) while my mother was living on Gay Street. Its all true I tells ya.

And you should know that I was drooling over socks online and I thought of you and your funky socks.

You should also know that dried apricots and in fact dried fruit of most any variety in any kind of quantity will give me such bad farts I can't even stand to be in a room with myself.

Ha ha! Gay Street!

I ♥ socks. It's kinda warm for them right now, though. I keep looking through my sock drawer and wondering why all I have is knee-highs.

It wasn't bad farts. It was the alarming stomach pain and then the...well, aftermath. YOU know what I'm talking about.

My office used to be at the corner of East Gay Street. It made me so happy to give the old coots directions to our building and tell them that's where they were going to end up.
