You folks are so sweet to me even when you've got bigger problems going on, even when I don't deserve your sympathy, even when I feel mostly whiny. Even when I am being crap at commenting on your entries. Thank you. It means a hell of a lot. I am sometimes amazed that I have such great internet friends and that we do so much for each other ( Read more... )

being able to whine in a safe and validated way is such a great feeling. and regardless of what others shit is, it is important to take the take to acknowledge your own crap. sorry to read of your recent stress. we can whine together tonight!

your "location" made me giggle...

Hee hee..hurrah for whining.

I think one of the things that I really like about LJ is that I can say everything that I can think of to say, and nobody can respond until I've posted it - so, when I'm pretty much done putting whatever out there. So nobody can interrupt me, or think I'm done when I'm not...and nobody has to wait while I'm figuring out what I need to say. So much easier than real life conversations, sometimes.

Looking forward to seeing you tonight...what are you going to wear?

Yay for dinosaur cookies! We'll see if I actually get around to making them...

We have to have minutes, otherwise we'll never remember what was decided. ;)

Isn't it incredible, this strange little Internetworld?

I'm all about "the latté factor." Just by making oatmeal in the morning instead of buying my yogurt parfait for breakfast, I save $15 a week. Yowza! (Of course, PANCAKES would be the best option!)

You are a wise woman.

It would be easy to make pancake batter and keep it in the fridge. It would last for at least a few days...and you could have morning pancakes three days in a row!

It feels really amazing to me to have found these people, and to trust them so much, and to feel so connected with them.

It's funny how the longer you do it, the less weird it seems. I invited a couple of out-of-town Busties so stay with me when I first started Busting, and while I didn't feel, like, unsafe or anything (obviously, or I wouldn't have extended the invite), I just felt WEIRD. Like, why am I picking up hitchhikers on the Information Superhighway? But by the time you stayed with me it just felt normal.
