I always get these bands wanting me to add them, and they remark on "oh, you like The Standells, you'll love us!"...yet they never seem to read the part that I only want to meet people I know.

Yeah, I get those, too. Usually it's not even messages, though, it's bands requesting to add me. Phooey! I can't even be bothered to listen to them. I am clearly a bad person. ;)

myspace is such a shithole. but so many of my cousins and old friends are on there so i stay on. even monchis got one but rarely checks it. (he's under ramon on my top 8 friends if you're bored and feel like browsing)

Yeah, I don't use it for much, but I like connecting with cool people that I already know. I like feeling connected. But I don't like strangers sending me dumb messages.
