I like the color. I like the way the horizontal wood grain works with the vertical water. I like the way the waterfall reminds me of a certain part in Mario Bros. 3, level 5.
I like that the functionality of the thing is about as sensible as a circuit board when you look at it. Like you can almost put together why this and that are connected, but it's elusive. Also like how the "water" might be blue paper or anything, really.
i think it's beautiful and has a refinement but playfulness about it. i especially like the texture of the grass, the overall color scheme and how it looks with the texture of the wood in the background.
It's as if you have represented the TV like a water treatment plant or some sort of chemical refining plant. Both of these are like a TV in that, as Mike pointed out, you can almost put together why this and that are connected, but it's elusive. The TV differs in that its components are usually hidden, whereas with a treatment/refinery all of the bits are out in the open for all to see as they drive by. Of course, this exposure does nothing to improve their understanding of the device.
