All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You - GYAAAH!!!! "We walked in the garden, we planted a seed." First time I heard Annie sing that line I pulled over, stopped the car. sat and stared at the radio and said, "I cannot fucking believe she just sang that line." Who in their fucking right mind would not only write that line, but sing it presumably in front of some kind of producer, who ALSO let that piece of shit get on a record and out the door of a major music studio?

The Aeroshit at #91 is "Tell Me What It Takes to Let You Go," which I think was the beginning of 15 years of absolute and utter soulless musical diarrhea from that group. So sad.

Darn. There was a Moki LJ post on my birthday and I missed it.

Poor Moki, there were some utter crap songs that were big that year. My dad and I were watching TV over the weekend and paused on an infomercial for a 1970s CD collection. Some great songs, but the clips of the artists showed people who would never make it in today's music scene. Not pretty/marketable enough. Which didn't matter then, as music was heard on the radio, if you bought the album, or went to a concert. What mattered was that the song was good and the artist had talent. Video DID kill the radio star.
