Ah, it's simple really. The brain can be removed from a human body with little effort, but I can't reveal that technique to you. As for the tanks, they're specially designed to contain and run solely based on the brain's workings.

Unlike humans, the 'brain tank' can run constantly without rest, are equipped with a heavy armory, and can take psychic orders from a distance. It's one of my finest inventions to date.
