Question: can someone explain to me why Kirk says "that is so weird" to Gaila? I feel like I don't really get where he's going with that. I fail.

YAY! I am so rusty, man, but it's fun to flex the muscles.

This one started out a lot differently -- it was going to be all UST/first-time sexxin' -- but that didn't seem right to me. So I went for mellow instead.

I think the scene was supposed to be multilayered 1. implying that he HASN'T ever had a relationship where someone had said that before and 2. a whole comedy gag (1. is also a comedy gag) where an ORION GIRL would fall for Jim--which I think they were trying to say is that Jim is SO GOOD in bed that even an Orion chick would be all up on his jack.

I loved it, and I'm very happy to hear that you're really working on the Academy epic.
