LJ Idol Week 0 - Introduction

So...I used to be a total hedonist. At one time my motto was "If it feels good, do it," but a husband and two children have tempered that. Now it's more like, "If it feels good, and won't hurt anyone else, or give me a headache in the morning, I'll do it...on the weekends...if I don't fall asleep putting the kids to bed..."

I forgot you were relatively close to me geographically. Where in north Georgia? My in-laws have a place in some small town whose name I have forgotten up there on Lookout Mountain. You can see down into Chatanooga from their place.

My foster son lives in Evans with his relatives.

We're in Gainesville - probably an hour and a half from there? Lookout Mountain is gorgeous. I went hang gliding at the place up there a few years ago - that was a wild experence!

Oh, and Evans...that's near Augusta right? My husband's family lives in Waynesboro!

Thank you so much! They are, absolutely, my heart.

I realized my intro post this season is so different from last year. Then, I was so focused on my children because I had been a stay at home mom for four years - this year all that's been turned upside down!

Well, why don't you add it in if you like it so much? (Or go read Kittenboo's intro because she totally threw it out there!)

Oh yeah, I saw hers...

Is that your dog with your dildo in its mouth?

Nope. Not my dog, nor my dildo. I found it on Google images while searching for the phrase "Uh Oh" last year!

Now, once when my daughter was about two she came out of my bedroom *singing* into the head end of one of my dildos...she thought it was a microphone, THANK GOD!!

Hey Aunt Liz!!

That was an AWESOME night :)

You're really surprised I'm doing this again? It *was* a massive time drain, but I had a great time playing and writing! Did you notice...Ashley signed up for this season as well :)

I'll give you a call - I think we're driving down Friday. Maybe we can all go have "chips and cheese" at El Tequila!

that picture of you on the slide is awesome. You've got a great photographer in the family/friend realm.

And I love how you talk about how your personal renaissance. I'm turning 30 in January and I'm going through the same thing! Literally, left a good paying job and moved to Nashville. And I don't even sing or song write. I just wanted to be here because it felt right.

And I thought I was crazy! Well, I am... but still... :)

30 has been such a great year for me personally - my husband getting laid off is a different story, butit has led to all this great changes so things happen for a reason, I guess!

Nashville! How cool! I felt the same way about the town we've moved to. Foras long as I can remember I have wanted to move back here. Good luck with your rebirth this year too :)
