that's the gist of it. I cannot give you any advice because I just do not know anything about the situation. But that's the main thing that matters -- we cannot change the past, but we can fix things.

I have some reassuring news for you re: the person who was called out and their safety, and I wanted to let you know that we are having a policy meeting today for the exact reason of determining "now what? what next?" I hope we will have more answers soon.

In some way, I have been in this place here and there over time. I guess we all have.
A few things keep rising up to the surface for me~some of it my own triggered ptsd, some of it not.
Sorting it out from far away; how I am not surprised as much as heartbroken, how familiar and disappointing this kind of ache is, and just hoping that compassion wins the day for everyone.
It's weird. I knew without knowing. Names don't have to be asked. And yet, it's really difficult to keep sight of the larger picture and not the who when you know the who.

More and more, the subtext that I feel most strongly is that this kind of fame/icon/star/hero worship/ factory is such a crux of the issue.
Even the part of saying the facilitator is "jesus," no...no..nobody is.We're all people & complicated humans at that.Learning to dismantle that will help change the climate of some people being beyond reproach, for what they write, not necessarily how they live. Who would dare speak out against the people we have put on pedestals? Who are veterans in our ( ... )
