For a little while now, Olivia's been playing with our Nintendo DS. Her first game was Magnetica. Sometimes she'd actually clear a level. Then I showed her Animal Crossing Wild Word and we made her her own character. (I even played through the intro stuff for her so she'd be free to play how she wanted.) Then we bought her Nintendogs, and now

heh. I think SOnia MAY have started a new town too, but am not sure. She may have just created a second town on the other DS... My town was so overrun with weeds I had those stinky flowers growing in my fields!
You know, except for the special items, most stuff appears in your catalog forever after once you've held it, so even if you pick it up and drop it in another town, it will become part of your catalog!

I didn't see how bad my town was after the inactivity, because Dale played it before me on his flight. Still, I did find cockroaches in the house when I played for the first time.

I guess I'll have to go to Tom Nook's and check the catalog. Not that I could afford to buy anything, since we're utterly bell-less. :D

These are the kinds of things I can't wait for my kids to be old enough to actually be into...of course, I have to own a DS or PSP for them to be into that, but I figure I'll finally have one when Derek is actually old enough to be into one.

Livi's been playing with it for about a month now. It's pretty funny when she's playing Nintendogs and we hear her yelling, "Daisy! Sit down! Sit Down!"

Ooh, maybe deleting my town was her revenge for when I accidentally made her puppy forget the 'sit down' command!
