I was listening to a man the other day, some radio 4 thing or something.. and he and his mate would share these great stories of thier Irish childhood.. sadly this friend of his was dying of cancer.. they would joke about how they should write a book about all these amazing times.. the closer this friend got to dying, the more he pushed the man to write. Until one night he held him up to a wall with his forearm and said "Write the Book." Had I a forearm near your neck I would say the same..you have so much talent.. write the book..

Well, thank you. I truly doubt whether I have the capacity for a whole book. I think the whole more or less breaks down into three groups; the stupid, the smart and the intellectual. Whilst I borrow a little from the stupid and the intellectual, I am mostly smart, which precludes me from having the mental longevity and capacity that is required to write so much. I'm happy with short bursts.

How morbid, I know.

I'm pretty much the same..that's why I half attempted poetry (crap..I'm too emotionaly retarded) but I can write a good short story or a story in many parts...and I might add that few books aren't written in chapters..if you break it down to a paragraph a day it wouldn't hurt...you could always just start copying and pasting your journal entries with a few edits...
