Very cool! Of course Sam would not have good happy Djinn induced memeories. You're right that he did get attacked first. I hate that we will never know what he saw, but got to see Dean's.

Maybe we'll hear some more about soulless!Sam's adventures next season! Either way there are a ton of interesting stories left to tell about him ; )

The thing about soulless!Sam that I find so intriguing is he wasn't really without emotions- not entirely. He had plenty of self-preservation related emotional reactions- they were just muted or played up for Dean's benefit.

There were a few moments of genuine fear we saw on him (the way I read it, anyway). One was when Castiel mentioned Raphael wanting to restart the Apocalypse in 6x03, and much later on in 6x11 when Bobby had him trapped in the basement and he knew Dean was going to get Sam's soul back. Above all else- soulless!Sam wanted to exist. Very interesting character.
