I just saw this movie tonight, too! I LOVED IT VERY MUCH. I haven't seen the first Thor (though this will now have to be quickly rectified), or most of the Marvel movies, but this was such a fantastic pleasure. I bought into all the twists and gasped at all the excitement and tragedy and budding romance, and the whole nine. And omg, the funeral scene was GORGEOUS. ;______;

Bring on Thor 3; I'm so there.

You know I caught the first Thor movie on a flight and expected it to be silly and then I LOVED it!
Showed it to hubby who also loved it (he is a big Heimdall fan). The Avengers I went to see in the theater because I was told it was the greatest Hulk movie so far (I actually liked the Ang Lee one and hated the Ed Norton one, but yes Ruffalo blows them all out of the water (except for Bixby of course).

And yes this one was so fun!! Even the post credit bits were great. The giant dog running around. Lol!

Thwoar!!!! It was a cracking film, wasn't it? I knew you'd love it! You are right about the design of those space ships - they were wicked.

*flails* So glad you liked it!!! <3 There are so many things I love about this movie. Jane being sassy with Odin might be at the the very top of my list though. *highfives Jane so hard*

I liked every scene with Darcy and Ian. "Were those the car keys?" XD

Also, Thor and Jane in that cave on Svartalfheim. Thor - "Why are there so many shoes here?" And poor confused Mjolnir. :'D

I also loved that the Dark Elves spoke in their native language. It made them cooler and more intimidating. And OMG THEIR WICKED AWESOMETASTIC SPACESHIPS!!! *u*

Soooooo sad about Frigga, but happy that she kicked MAJOR ass...until Kurse the Berserker-manservant showed up. ;A;

And Loki. Oh, Loki. You are gonna be so sick of your new job after 3 weeks (maybe less). There's a reason Odin is often tired and grumpy. Thor is the smart one for choosing freedom. *pets his glorious golden mane and beard*

Omg yes! Jane being all:"excuse you? Did you just call me a goat? Who do you think you are?"
"Odin."
"Oh okay. Carry on."

And the whole bit about the soul forge! hee, and Thor was grinning her because she's so smart she made Asgard-Aice Krige impressed!

Yes Darcy is always wonderful and the bits with her and Ian were hysterical.

The cave sequence was so funny! And then Thor's eyebrow slowly creeping up when he heard Jane's suitor on the phone, lol.
"Sea bass, sea bass, sea bass..."

Such a good time, overall. I want to see it again.
Especially the chest washing. For health reasons. Because it's very cold here and I feel that would warm me. Very much.

"Thor's eyebrow slowly creeping up when he heard Jane's suitor on the phone" <--- This.
Thor - "Who's Richard?"
Jane - "Really?!"

"Especially the chest washing. For health reasons. Because it's very cold here and I feel that would warm me. Very much." Oh, you! X'D

Guuuuhhhh, if only I lived closer to you. I want to see it again too, but none of my in-town friends are Thor (or even Marvel) enthusiasts. *sadface* My poor mom gets dragged to all the Marvel movies. XD I need better local friends...or access to the Bifrost.
