Alarums, Excursions, and Good Deeds

Good deeds first, as I want people to see this. So it'll be a while before the "Read More" note appears. ;)

Stephanie, the Yarn Harlot, has an excellent charity competition for this Yuletide season.

until after my little Wisconsin excursion...

I can arrange for you to get a tree... heck, I can send you lights if you like. I've gone to just putting up lights.

Appreciate it hon, but really, no need...main reason is because to get a *little* tree, I'd have to trek out to St. John's again, and likely on the bus. ;) More running around? Lugging even a small tree home via bus? Not likely, LOL. Plus I realized w/all the baking and such in store, I'm not really wanting to buy a tree-stand, find a safe place to put it up, etc., etc., the week before Christmas. Busy enough already. So I'm making a wreath, and that'll be indoors; I'll have some nice Yule greenery, no fear.

Although if you wanna send some lights along later, for next year... Yeah, I'll take 'em, you betcha. Just don't worry about getting 'em to me any time soon. You've got enough going on right now. I'll plan ahead to get a tree that'll fit in here next year, though, and some lights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
