Monica, So sorry to hear about this. Insurance companies suck!
My job recently changed our insurance plan for all of us without telling us. How did we find out? We went to the doctor with our old insurance card and they said, "oh, that card isn't valid anymore." The new plan is much worse in terms of coverage: higher out-of-pocket expenses, higher deductibles, etc. The worst part is, I think it only saves my bosses a small amount every month. Makes me sad and angry.
