I really really hope so, I remember I kinda felt that way when Chris left the show, but nothing can compare the energy and craziness David put to the character.

The show is officially dead.

It's almost funny how Matt Shit has managed to completely destroy it in ONE single appearance.

With that untalented piece of shit, the show will sink to the bottom of the toilet -- where it belongs. From Doctor Who to Teenie Ghoul in one tiny step.

David was the only thing that made it good -- it's nothing but a dessicated corpse now. Stick a fork in it -- it's done.

The show is about the Doctor, not one actor. Way to miss the point.

Because twenty seconds of screen time is so grounds for judging a new actor as the Doctor. You do know that he's post-regeneration, and therefore not exactly stable, right? Not many people liked David at first either.

That hideous moron can NEVER replace David.

It's an obvious effort to reel in the Twilight teenies by casting a moronic teeniebopper.

The show is dead. It died the second Ten was gone.

...Why are you having such a virulent reaction to Matt Smith? Surely you knew that David couldn't do it forever. Even if Ten's your favorite Doctor, there are other ones. For some people, the show hasn't ever been the same since Four, and believe me, Ten is not completely unique, because he shares a large number of Four's traits.

How is twenty six considered teeniebopper, praytell? And like it or not, there's been precedent for casting a young actor as the Doctor. Peter Davison was only two years older than Matt is when he started. Blaming it on Twilight is completely unfounded, and calling Matt "moronic" is beyond stupid. You're only sore that he's not David. He never will be David, and that is the point. The new Doctor needs to be different from David and the NINE OTHER ACTORS BEFORE HIM. If you can't handle change, you're in the wrong fandom, simple as.
