Okay, so I finally submitted something to a publisher. I'm not really getting my hopes up, so in a month I'll pitch to the next one. And the next. etc. I've got about half a dozen Australian publishers to try before shelving the project as a learning process

Yay! Good for you! It's a start, even if nothing happens, and that's what matters. I have my fingers crossed for you at any rate.

Ha, as for finishing a chapter, you and me both. I feel like the bit of writing I'm working on is out to get me. It just keeps staring at my angrily. Good luck finishing yours. ^^

Good luck!!! It's really inspirational that you're putting yourself out there!

I agree - being in character at the table is hard, and often our group just breaks down into jokes/laughter - but it's fun in its own way :)
