Im re-familiarizing myself with a constant love of mine; old-school 1950s advertising and scifi. I love this period's take on the future. It's so happy and peachy and seemed to be a period in which the future was something to look forward to, where the only limits on it where what you could imagine. I think it's because the 1950's womnan was never supposed to modernize, only the tools she'd use to have dinner on the table when the husband came home. you know?
