I read about this SyFy yesterday or Monday. I'm not a fan of the channel but it seems totally unnecessary. Definitely gave me a wtf pause, especially when I read the part about theh network doing better than ever. If it ain't broke don't fix it. I'm not a fan of sci-fi as a genre, but if I'm surfing a program guide the channel name doesn't generally stop me from watching what I want to see. I might make an exception for SyFy though cuz that just looks like bad/hipster/tryna be young spelling.
