They took it back! Too bad they don't have the raggedy ass RV this time...
They used to show that movie in my elementary school for the kids who got a citizenship, scholarship or perfect attendance button lol. They ain't even have the movie on VHS. It was on some old ass projector that kept breaking down.

While I'll be the first to admit that Hollywood does rape old treasures (I use that term loosely) of ours; originality it does not lack, well I'd say they lack 60% originality.
Over the course of the year films have been released but they seemed to lack "mainstream" support.
Rachel Getting Married, The Hurt Locker, Wendy and Lucy, Ballast, Frozen River, Synecdoche, New York (one film; not two), and The Visitor.
You have to look deeper.
Would you have known about Let The Right One In (granted it's a foreign film) if I didn't mention it? Well this is the internet so yeah but I'd like to think nope...

The only movie I heard of from your list was "Synecdoche, New York," and no, I don't think I'd have heard about "Let The Right One In" until much later, when everyone started making their "Best of 2008" lists.
It's supposed to snow tomorrow, you still plan on doing the No Pants train ride thing?
