Too bad it's Friday, I don't think too many ppl are picking the meme up.

I actually knew some Yoko Kanno from Cowboy Bebop, the one and only anime I liked in the last decade or more. 'Rain' is unbelievable. Never knew Yoko was a she...any albums in particular you'd recommend? I thought intellectual whores would be something negative, like people who let their minds be pimped by some dogma, but by your definition I think I may be one. And revolution, well I have deeply conflicted feelings over the when, where and how. I'll have to post a long contemplation about that soon.

Aside from the Cowboy Bebop soundtracks there isn't anything specific by Kanno that I can recommend off the top of my head; but seeing as how she's a member of the group The Seatbelts maybe there's been an album released by them you can find? Hhmm, I should find that out...
