I seldom see anyone other than yard crews over there as they always seem to be travelling, so to see the actual owner is a real rarity. Sorry to hear about the frantic situation nearby :|
I tend to think that signs won't do much to steer away a situation like that, but who knows....

I think the signs enforce the man’s legal rights in the instance of a police issued No Trespass Order. His comments were basically that the local police shrugged this off and offered no information about the situation. He has a friend in another police department who told him about getting the order.

I feel sorry for that guy. I hope he'll get medical help and respect as a human being, rather than an arrest and more trauma (which I sadly think are more likely to come out of any encounter with the police).

One does hope they can get him the help he needs. It may be he has refused it; an intervention could be helpful.

Mental illness has steadily been on the rise. The pandemic made it skyrocket, but another factor is several countries emptying their jails and mental institutions and sending those people to our southern border.

He’s a local, from what I can find online. He lives alone in a $1.2MM home. I can’t help but wonder where his family is, or friends, that could help him.
