I had a smidge of extra time the other day, and I dipped into Mastodon again for an investigatory tour also... So far it's been, ... less than exciting yeah, .. but with only watching about a half dozen people, I guess I can't expect too much yet.
I don't know if I'm perceiving the vibe yet, but if it's going to be as dull as IRC, then it may be hard for it to reach the vitality that Twitter had achieved, ...but, still kinda early to tell.

I haven't touched Mastodon, and just like Twitter and Facebook, I have no plans to ever do so. If anything, the older I get, the less I time I want to spend in front a glowing screen. I guess that's why I never tried VRC either. Life is brief, and there is a whole world to explore and experience, why settle for something artificial? I am ever so glad that Spring has arrived! Thanks... I don't know what motivated me when I wrote that, but there was a time I used to think that way when furry meant more to me :o)

As you know, I don't mind the 'no exceptions' or 'furries ruin everything' approaches to artwork, and I've looked around on e621... but enough there is too much! ;o) I really prefer the more wholesome stuff (if it can be termed so), by artists like karpour or paco-panda. Maybe sweet is a better term. I notice that neither use the furry hashtag and maybe that's a good indicator.

And I didn't mention what a political morass Mastodon seems to be, but that could be because I followed a politically motivated friend's friends. Bah!
