The picture with the samoyed is cute. Indeed, here comes the sun - because the cloud got stuck in a gate! :D

With fat bears presumably not being common your area (they aren't, are they?), any idea what could've trampled that fence?

Bears voting for bears... what a competition to be largest! There are some huge bears still eating salmon at the Falls (live cam is currently offline: its 2:00 a.m. UTC -8)

The pup looks happy in that shot :o)

It may have been a deer, or fat woodchuck or coon on the wire. I’ll be looking more closely later today.

Watching the live cam you can see some Enormous bears eating salmon. The sub-adults move a respectable distance away when the big boys (and girls) come through! These critters spend all summer bulking up to hibernate all winter ;o)

Winter, yeah... it’s already dark here by 7:20.
