Out of Chaos, Clarity

There is something about chaos that seems to stir up long dormant brain cells and kick them into action around here.  We've been dealing with a rampant Chaos, with big pointy teeth, and it brought the attack of the appliances, and minions... but... even Chaos seems to wear out eventually

Oh yes. I totally get appliances and plumbing deciding to take summer vacation. Our budget is going to take all summer to recover. Just as well we decided we couldn't afford a vacation . . . again.

Ah Yes...We might sneak in a day trip to a county historical site but we're vacationing in Porchville this year too.

That sounds kinda cool.

We have houseguests, and so the spouse has been scouting out freebie things to visit, which has gotten him out the door and to some pretty cool stuff that he wouldn't otherwise have bothered with. Like the space shuttle up in L.A. (Brutal freeway drive, but eminently worth it.)

We tried a local Greek festival and the nosh was excellent. We are still trying to sort local historical things, the cool idea is not only a drive but a largish fee. :P
