Hold the line!

Because many people have not been playing the SP campaign, EA may have the mistaken impression that SP is a "lost cause" and so may not fund the Ending DLC properly -- especially since they are committed to giving it to us for free.Basically, it comes down to this theory: Bioware looks for the sales, first and foremost. Even moreso now that they're ( Read more... )

Argh. I have tabletop gaming on the 28th; the 29th was going to be my only day to play ME3 this week.

*stomps around petulantly*

Sorry. XD I know it's not the same, but we could probably find other games to play if ME3's off the table. Or you could just cross the picket line.

I was thinking I could play SWTOR, although I'm not sure if that's not the wrong thing to do since that puts money into Bioware's coffers, too. XD

But if you're not a subscriber and they have another free weekend like they have been for the last several months, you could play too.:)

I am a subscriber. I just fell so damn far behind you guys and got so overwhelmed with the new job that... I seem to have dropped out of the game circle like, a good while back. And I didn't feel like bitching and moaning and pouting over it... So I've been happily keeping busy with Mass Effect........ 'cause I have no idea how far I have to go to catch up. >_____>;

I'm glad someone else is thinking about this - because I have. It's a large part of why I hadn't even touched MP (let alone downloaded the Resurgance Pack until I had to) until the other night. I've been terrified that the fact so many people are playing MP would make it easy for the dev team/corporate beancounters to overlook and/or dismiss our (legitimate) concerns and issues over the ending and other single-player problems.

And people pooh-poohed me.

Guys, I'm getting sick of being pooh-poohed when I'm right. Really sick. /grump

Me, I just have no problem massively abusing their servers when it doesn't cost me anything. I've considered deleting all of the ME3 software from my hard drive just so I could download it again. And again. And again. 'Cause bandwidth. But it would end up just being petulance for petulance's sake ( ... )

I never said anyone else should do as I've done. I'm just saying that I've made the point the group's making here - the beancounters are going to look at all the people who are still gladly playing multiplayer and potentially use that as a way to dismiss the criticism over the single-player ending or to minimize the number of people upset, even though happily playing multiplayer isn't mutually exclusive with despising the ending. And I was pooh-poohed for even putting that thought forward.
