On Vulcans and First Contact

Okay, me and my brother were having a big long-winded conversation about Vulcans (which I started with the mention of Vulcan milkmen... lawl), and we had the greatest conversation ever. I really need to start using my voice recorder, 'cause this would have been funnier if I got it word for word, but we reconstructed it the best we could:

Well, we both did, if only because of this movie. But we forgot... .__.; He couldn't have been there for first contact (where the humans and the Vulcans first met) if his mom was a human! D¦

If i remember correctly, first contact happens sometimes in the 22nd century, and the events of TOS are in the 24th? Also, I'm pretty sure even the oldest vulcans live only a few hundred years.

(ok, well i looked it up, and first contact was 2063 and TOS started in 2266 but at least i knew it was approx 200 years!)

You, sir, are my hero. ♥ I need to catch up on my ST:TOS. And by catch up, I mean... watch it. For, like, the first time.
