Fuckin' A!

Grandmother lived off of unripe grapes during the depression.
One of my clients drives a lexus SUV and lives in one of Seattle's most expensive neighborhoods says she doesn't have enough to pay us.
*stabstabstab* I should put a lein on her house.

I don't understand the sense of entitlement that most Americans seem to have now. What happened to common sense??

I think it got replaced by bureaucracy, laws, and measures taken "for insurance purposes" and "Safety".
As far as entitlement... It's easy to blame parents, but even poor kids seem to have an "I deserve" complex. Likely a huge combination of the economic climate, business behavior, and the most obvious: people not seeing stock trading as gambling.
We are ALL guilty of taking what we have for granted.

NEVER ask what you deserve. There are better, more moral, harder working people than us in this world. They are living in aluminum shacks and rationed a cup of millet a day.

What do we do about it? This guy has a point: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jETv3NURwLc
