:) i don't use an alarm clock. i'm always up at 7, whether i like it or not, unless i've been out drinking the previous night, in which case, i'll wake up maybe an hour or two late. and since office is now just 15 mins away, i don't really neeed to hurry. :)
i gave up hope long ago! unfortunately my parents haven't. recently when they came to see me here for a month, i got the unedited version of 'morning raaga' from 10 yrs ago! :(
An owl, too, i am. But luckily we have a loose sometime-within-10 a.m kind of timing, and i only stay a 10-15 mins walk away from work. So it isn't all that bad, though i do make a point of balancing things out over the weekend :-p
Besides, i wouldn't generalize as many jobs don't exactly require an emplyee's brain to be at its most active. That may be better applied elsewhere :-p

oh yeah! in fact, my current workplace doesn't require me to use my brains at all! i'm afraid the day i use them to think, i'll just quit this place and never look back!
I always wake up whenever I want to, read the newspaper, then get ready to go to office. We've got flexi-hours, so I just need to finish 40 hours a week, whenever/however I can. That still doesn't mean I appreciate my mornings, as I seldom wake up before 8 anyways.
oh! we got flexi-hours too (or so i'm told) but to quote my manager from a recent team-mail:
"Despite reminders, I cannot see all the team members are in the right time for the office. The organization supports flexi hours. I prefer everybody should be in office by 8:30 a.m."
yes, this slave house makes us work 8:30am - 6:30pm or 9am - 7pm. needless to say, most of us, land in only 9:00am ++ (and the BS we need to put up with calls for another post!)

And then the group of dodo birds in your enclosure proceed to give you the bitchy stare?
